The 'bow' of the Barbisio is sharp; the Mayser and Hückel clearly show the outstanding quality of the felt; and the Habig: I love black Homburgs, and this company's pieces are always worth buying. Great parade, Marcel!

Thanks Matt! Yes, i was lucky to buy them at good prices The felt of the Mayser and Hückel are top quality! The Barbisio i bought for it's bow treatment of sharkgills and dogears, you don't see that too often. It was a size 60, so took the gamble, but it fits me perfectly. The P & C Habig is always worth to buy, great quality hats!

Three new hats came today.
The first is an older Biltmore. I am impressed with the felt and softness of this hat. Not sure of age but I’m thinking 1950s

The next is an unmarked hat. I’m thinking 1950s again. It is doesn’t have a reed. It is also a nicely made hat. Anyone have any idea on the maker??

I am not exactly sure what the last hat is. It feels like it might be a wool blend. It definitely doesn’t have the same hand as nice felt. It looks like an older hat but I can’t ID who made it. Any ideas?

Dermotta Wien, 58 cm, possibly mid 1950s. The paper label is washed out so no model or quality information. Dermotta Wien are less common especially Snap Brim Soft Felts so happy to make this find. The Green Felt has a very nice finish and fine hand. Great form with a lighter green mid width Band and Brim Binding.
