Echter Borsalino Cecosca in black. Size 61 with the bound brim at 6cm and the crown at 11cm at the center dent. This one has a lovely shark gill bow for just that little bit extra.

Who would have ever guessed USPS delivered on Labour Day, that’s definitely a first for me. I’m not sure how this hat made it through a couple of months on EBay without anyone snatching it up, but they certainly missed out and it’s a perfect fit. The brim is a hair over 3”, the crown is 5.5” as pinched and has a wide supple sweatband. Not entirely sure how to describe the colour, but the photo of the back of the sweat is about right.

Enjoy your Labour Day (US holiday) and give thanks to all the workers before us that fought for safety, fair compensation and hours.

Cheers!

Thought about pulling the trigger on that many times. Nice! Glad it ended up with a fellow Lounger.

Royal Quality Stetson with a backbow. Made in England (Failsworth?) and sold in the netherlands. Seller said it was black, but i think it's more like a dark moss color, at least the ribbon is. I think it's from the '50's or '60's. Anyone know where "lakeland" in the label stands for? Or is that the color name? Or the place in Florida where it's made?

Nice find Marcel.

Failsworth of Manchester owned the license for English Stetsons, so yes, it's one of theirs.

Nice colour. In your photos, the greenish hue is definitely visible.

I'm guessing Lakeside is the name of the hat type. Don't recall seeing a Stetson of that name before, though.
