The Fed Ex person snuck this one up on my front door without me hearing him....Hasnt been out there long because I was just out front about an hour ago cleaning all the dust and Mr Mooses noseprints off the glass

This little hat caught my eye in the ad because its a nice sage green (Ive always been a sucker for a nice green hat) , and it came from the Bernie Utz hat store in Seattle. I literally walked past the front window of that shop every m-f to get to my bus twice a day for almost all the 15 yrs that I lived in Seattle. Chances are pretty good that I walked past that store while this particular hat was inside... Fate said I just HAD to have it

Stetson box is pristine, and hat looks absolutely unworn... fabulous condition. Its a Sovereign Stetson Chatham in Sage Green with a green ribbon. 2-1/4" brim. Beautifully soft, light felt. Checked under the box and low and behold there was even a nice feather inside. We will call this one a winner for sure

Once again my nice mailman brought me a nice box..... A nice newer Stetson Stetsonian... Tag says the model id the "Street". Really nice soft dress weight. Had a stain on the front of the brim binding but it brushed right off with a horsehair brush. beautiful dove grey. Always nice to have a good newer dressy hat on the wall ( one I dont have to worry about)

Cavanagh Fifty Silgrey with Park Ave. at 47th St. address.
The "Fifty" is not marked on the sweatband, but the price was fifty dollars. Wonderful felt, with an excellent hand. It is only slightly thicker than the Stetson Ermine's.
The verdigris stain is the strongest I've seen. Ignacio will take care of it.

That looks like the best Cavanagh on the entire Fedora Lounge to me, both for quality and it's pre-1951 date.

J. Hückel´s Söhne "Flexible", FP 6 1/2, possibly mid 1930s. This Stiff Felt was for the Czech market and from a Czech seller. Great Form and Finish plus good condition. It has a Hanging Cord which is less common with JHS Stiff Felts.

A nice little brown Open Roadish Beaver Brand hat came in today. 2-5/8" grosgrain bound brim. One minor little wayward dent on the crease in one side, but other than that its perfect. Ill fire the steamer up in a bit and fix that. Ive wanted a dark Open Road for a long time.... this scratches my itch just fine. Beautiful condition and its a long oval to boot! I dont normally wear OR's brim up, but I do have the option. ( for some reason, brim up on an OR always seems to ride higher and makes my ears stick out lol). Most of my Open Roads are either flat brims or snapped down in front

Snap the brim down in front and its a perfect fit. As smooth as the front is snapped down, ( no creasing on the brim) I suspect thats the way this ones always been worn

Even had the owners name tag still in it..... Anyone else find humor in a Franciscan Priest having a "Like Hell its Yours" tag in their hat? lol.... I think Ill just leave it in there

I am thrilled beyond words! The Bronze Hemp Open Road just came in and this thing looks just about unworn! The Bronze color hemp is gorgeous. A seriously nice hat! I think I like the Open Road as much as the four different color Hemp Stratoliners I have here..... they get worn a LOT in hot weather. Have just enough hot weather remaining to give it some air time.
