Greetings,

This is my first post as a new member. I'm trying to find someone to make a non-wool (I'm allergic!) replica of the bib front WWII German Panzer jacket for an upcoming amateur film project. I was going to try Replicators.com, but read some less than favorable posts here regarding their work.

I've contacted Custom Uniform Company to see if they might be able to handle this. Anyone ever work with them before? Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Rick at Hessen antique does the panzer uniforms in the green HBT material, as well as the camouflage varieties. Bear in mind that SS and army patterns are different in cut. The black uniform was only available in wool, though there was a black two piece overall issued in black cotton, which was a completely different pattern.

Those HBT wraps are nice.... I might pick one of those up for myself eventually, for civilian wear. Always enjoyed the vaguely Schott Perfecto shape to them (always put me in mind of BattleDress as designed by a biker...). I do have a cotton one (repro) in one of the Camos which I picked up for a tenner on eBay, though camoflague isn't often a look I go for. I've not seen the HBT versions before, they look superb.

If you don't mind camo and it has no insignia (eagles) on them
you should try spearhead militaria.... Great shop for
quality but a shame they don't include the eagles on their
work! I highely recommend them! http://stores.ebay.ca/Spearhead-Mil...43QQ_sidZ146084432QQ_trksidZp4634Q2ec0Q2em322 on the link you have to look abit because alot are
wool, and some are coveralls and if you are going to get an SS one I'd
recommend the Oakleaf-A (Autumn) .. and they have some nice heer
camos too like this http://cgi.ebay.ca/WW2-German-Tan-W...tem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27a83cbc19 and http://cgi.ebay.ca/WW2-German-Splin...tem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item53daaad0c5
