Hmmm . . . that's not of the style of hat I'd associate with Oppenheimer. This one is more like it:

Yeah, Oppenheimer had a signature lid and this hat looks nothing like it.

My apologies, as soon as I brought that other thread back to life, I did a different search and found this one.

As penance, here's me in my 'Oppie' ('50s San Fran Nutria). I still have this hat and wear it regularly, especially if the event is 'nuclear'.
