Dug up this coat recently at a thrift shop along with some s&p matching pants. I was able to find some history about Jacob Reed's Sons and their uniform store in Philadelphia but I'm trying to settle on a date and is this was in fact a Police overcoat. It has "superior quality" P buttons and the 1908 handshake union label long with a name tag dated 1965 (which I think was written in long after production). Any knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated.
