Sewing Machine Repair around Los Angeles?

Hi all,

Hopefully this is the right place for this. If not, would a moderator move it for me please?

I have one of the vintage Singer sewing machines (black with the gold applique) and it is portable. The machine also has sentimental value for me. It is in great condition, but needs some general maintenance and a bit of repair, as it won't pick up the bottom thread.

I have been getting some recommendations of general sewing machine repair places, but I want to make sure these places really know what they are doing with the vintage models. I contacted Singer, and they gave me a few places in my area, but I feel like they just picked ones in my area.

Does anyone have any recommendations of places to go to repair my machine?
