I like your spiderpig note and thought of this poem my son had to learn in kindergarten and I have never forgot. Why I don't know since he is now 30.
Ok. Here goes:
I had a little pig and I fed him in a trough.
He got so big and fat that his tail popped off.
So I got me a hammer and I got me a nail and I made that pig a wooden tail.

He won first place for saying it. My great neice collects pig stuff.
