Here's a question for some of the vintage gurus.....I've seen a lot of vintage Haband ties that were exceptionally sporty looking (and U.S. made judging by the label). Back in the day, were they a catalog company like they are now? They must've had a customer base other than the velour track suit crowd back then. I used to have a nice haband guayabera shirt, and they don't even sell those anymore, a staple of any Florida retiree's wardrobe. Now it's all zipper shirts and Velcro shoes. What kind of stuff did they have back then?

That is a nice one! The old Haband was nothing like it is today. They carried a decent amount of cool clothing and obviously cool ties. You could have ordered things from them via a catalog but that is where the similarity ends.
