Here's a recent batch. The one second from right isn't vintage but has the 'look' in my opinion. The one on far right, I think I showed the other day already.

Yes, it does have that look to it. Regarding Don Loper, his neckties almost always had the subtle, clean look to them.

From an era when that combination label/keeper was some new innovation that needed explanation to the purchaser. lol

That is a great tie! I'd be afraid to wear it with a suit and fedora, however, as I'd feel a little too ostentatious. Great tie nonetheless, and the keeper/label directions are a good laugh at the past.

I have another vertical stripe from the Tricot -Cavalier of Louisville company. Has an interesting texture. Looks like fine knit and feels very smooth.

I like to wear the painted horse tie to the Day at the Races at Santa Anita we do each year. (I keep hoping it will give me a link to the horses running for betting purposes but that hasn't worked yet.)

I like that Tricot tie, Feraud! I wish I had one. It says extra long, but I'm thinking that if it's mid-'50s, then that would be about 54". Am I close?
