It brings it back closer to what it would have been. I wouldn't say that it darkens the actual color of the leather, so much as eliminates the dryness.

Just picked up 2 faves of mine from Johnson Leathers in San Francisco.
seam repair's on the left jacket & new lining & wool Cuffs & Bottom waistband replaced on the right jacket.
Great job restitching was in the old holes so looks clean.

Not the First time there for repairs & not the last ,,,Always great attention to detail on my old Patina Rich Jackets.
Alan is Great Guy & burned me some great Musica !

He showed me some of his secret stash stuff

Hey seabass, I enjoyed your photos from Johnson Leathers. I've talked to Alan countless times now and will soon be receiving my second jacket from them, yet I have little idea what the place itself is like. Thanks, strokes. I didn't used to like the Perfecto style at all. But once you ride in one and realize how well it does it's job of protection, comfort, and utility, you get sold.

I really like the looks of the 50's HB shown by gtdean48 and plan for that same jacket to be added to my collection sooner than later.
