I just received my LW LT/A:

It has the coolest Talon zippers i have ever seen.
When i picked them from the lineup i had no idea they swiveled ( i just liked the puller shape), Stu just said they where "vintage utility zippers" without mentionning the swivel action, this is a very nice surprise. They really make a super unique jacket even more special.

This is the pic i was sent (in retrospect i can now see that they looked different from traditional zippers, but when i picked them i didn't know what i was looking at):

Has anyone ever seen this? I find it super cool.

Realy cool zippers there! And an even nicer jacket! Is it deep blue deerskin?

Hope to see a full review of it soon...

All I can say is No I have never encountered these zippers. How interesting.

If even you didn't know they existed they must some kind of Top Secret Talon program design.

It is anthracite grey, it's an interesting colour, it's almost black but not, and it does sometimes look very deep blue.
I will review it at some point.

That is interesting. I wonder what product they were originally intended for? They look fairly robust as opposed to fragile.

The only zipper preference so have, beyond the obvious appropriate size/smooth travel/reliability/colour, is whether they dangle and jangle about- I generally prefer the tab on the zipper pull to be rigid and stay firmly in place, and thus quiet when the jacket is moved, especially when it comes to zips on sleeves! Does anyone else share this preference? This preference hasn't prevented any purchases, however.
