My dad worked at Coors. Golden, Colorado has a sour smell to it--you don't have to be at the brewery.

Decatur, Illinois smells like rotting soybeans. I guess you can get used to anything over time.

On a damp day, when the wind stood unfair, you could smell that all the way where I live, 40-plus miles away. While I do like the smell of paper, it doesn't smell anything like a paper mill to me.

There was an episode of Extreme Cheapskates where a woman made tuna salad out of cat food because it was cheaper than regular tuna fish. Her ex-husband ate a big sandwich of it and declared it delicious ~ he didn't know it was cat food. Egads!
