That was interesting for those not schooled on the differences between the Indy hats. I knew fans saw differences, but honestly, I'd never bothered to seek out what those differences were and since I never watch a movie more than once, I hadn't had the time to contrast and compare. Also, I have little interest in the Indy hats as a tall, straight crown doesn't work for me so I don't wear such. But watching your flick gave me the main points succinctly. Good job.

Having worked in the industry (advertising, radio, television, etc.) and writing, producing, directing, editing pre and post productions, etc. I can only say that you may well have found a niche for yourself! Good research. Well thought out. Decent, believable writing. All in all a very good production. And, you didn't have to edit film, utilize old anitiquated equipment and on and on like we did back in the seventy's well into the eighty's to pull it all together. Again-- two thumbs up! W>

Very true. You can get a Fed IV for under $150 there ($200 if you buy the Deluxe). It's pretty much the cheapest Indy imitator you can get on the web.

I applaued your efforts (seven months ago) via the comments section on YouTube and now I find that my comments (except the one giving praise) have been deleted along along with many of those who also recommend the Akubra. If you consider your responses as "simply bringing up another alternative" then you would be misleading the people on this forum. I responded to your comments with my own opinion about the Fed IV and your reply I considered to be defensive and snobbish so it was removed. My video is about a "screen accurate" indy hat, and in my opinion the Fed IV is not screen accurate. I have an obligation to die hard fans like myself who are very particular about the details to not let them be mislead by peoples comments/spammers on my video. There are people like me out there who would be disappointed with the Fed IV and my video is for them.

The fact that you came all the way over here to the fedora lounge to call me out on my "opinion" and gain sympathy I think is childish.
