On the back, the ad for guaranteed 6 months no tear wear on boys clothes makes me think they found an early form of Kevlar! Notice also the "Cravenette" process used for them too.

Circa 1960 American Hat Co. Interesting little cataloge (5 1/2" by 8 1/2") that opens from the bottom like a calendar..... Has some damp rumples and rusted staples but great hats!
