Thanks, RBH, and others for all these great pics. It's cool to see this coming together for Mike. I don't know when, Mike, but I'll be there too someday.

That hat is a beauty. You guys are killing me with these hats, just killing me. I can't get enough of 'em.

The interview went very well this morning, there should be a story Friday Sunday or one day next week on the shop. They were so taken, that they asked if they could come and video me making a hat from start to finish, I said yes. They want it to add to a web site they have for the paper. I'll find out more later when the reporter calls me to say which day the story and photos will run.

I miss the old shop some what, I learned alot in there, but my wife is happy to have the garage back for her cars, and a room downstairs to use as a bedroom, not a sewing room as I had been doing for several years.

The Memphis Commerical Appeal

They found out about me and called last week and sent a photo person out to take some shots of hats and the shop, on Monday afternoon the reporter called and asked questions, after a hour he asked if he could come out and meet me and do a better interview, so we had our meeting this morning, he loved the whole thing, I informed him about the FL and SASS and he asked alot of questions on hats and what I do to help a person decide what is the right hat.

The thing that made him laugh is when he asked me "How many hats does a person need?" I said, "That's like asking a barber if he thinks you need a haircut"

He then went around to some of the shops around the square and asked what they thought about a custom hat shop in town. This weekend is opening weekend at the Ruffin for the Xmas plays that start at 7PM each night, so I will be open with blinds up working on hats as the people attend the plays.

No sign yet, money is gone on many other things right now, will have the painter doing my inside landscape come and paint "Buckaroo Hatters, custom hand made hats" on both display windows, I can afford that now, the sign I wanted is about $500.00 and before I can order the city has to approve it, we can not have a lighted sign, I want mine to look older and blend in with the building.

I'll take a photo Thursday night from the outside with the blinds up and with inside lights on, that way you can see the whole shop and both display windows.
