This is a question to any UK loungers... where to get a decent vintage style haircut around Oxford and/or Northampton?
We moved up to Oxfordshire from London a few months back, but I have still yet to find a place that can do a decent "vintage" style cut. My most recent attempt made resulted in a badly cut hairstyle reminiscent of the late '70s.
Even when I put it as simple as possible, no one seems to be able to do it. I've given exact instructions, I've brought in pictures... but no luck. I even had the following conversation:
- Okay, I'm not getting my point across. Just give me a classic, old-school haircut like your grandfather might've had.
- But my grandfather was bald!
