Yes, Block MC/Police jackets do not show up too often. I do have one pictured below. It is a most unique jacket, with some odd work done to it. I bought it out of Japan. There is another Block Police jacket in Japan.

These types of cuffs were mentioned in another thread related to Golden Bear jackets. I guess this label is late 50s/early 60s. This leather piece aids in getting off these tight knit cuffs without pulling on the knits and wearing them out.

Knopf arrived! Very delicate. Very thin and light, I would call it a leather windbreaker. Was essentially worn down to suede. I used Aileens leather glue, obernaufs oil and dark brown Urad to give it some life back. Not a jacket I’ll be putting any money into. I’ll hand stitch the lining where needed and wear it into disintegration.

Great find! It seems like the sleeves were shortened?

You did a great recue job, looks wearable. I have a variety of Pony Hide jackets and all are a bit different. I thought it would be a lighter leather, but not always. Maybe the Pony Hide is just a sales thing.

I think MacGregor used the term "Windbreaker" for some of their light weight leather jackets.

I also joined the Pony Hide club with this recent arrival. This jacket is also a very light weight jacket. Haven’t weighed it but it’s the lightest leather jacket I have.

chest zipper is a coil zipper, the 1st one I’ve had in a jacket.

It also arrived with the pull stuck couple inches up from the bottom. Fortunately or unfortunately there’s a tooth missing near the top that I was able to work it thru but doesn’t seem to effect the integrity of the zipper when zipped up normally.

Seller listed sleeves as 23” but they were just folded under. Added another 1 1/4”.

Wow, awesome find, congrats. I thought coil zippers were a later invention, I had one on an early 80s cafe racer.

I had my eye on that jacket. I love this style of front pockets in this length of jacket. Very clear mid 40s Talon main zipper, the pocket zipper looks to be replaced? The main zip is original.

The light lining for a light weight jacket. Pony is not always light weight. I think the Durable I just sold was Pony and not a windbreaker weight.

Nice, great someone here got this very cool vintage jacket.
