Hello WW-2 emblem buffs, anyone out there possibly have a good photo/drawing/scan of the "Unofficial" 416th Bombardment Group(Light) , it has the motto on a banner at it's top of "Ignis Aurum Probat" , the shield design is of flames in the lower half and out of the flames an arm rising upward, crooked at the elbow and holding in the hand a Large lightning bolt.
I have a small black and white photo from the web , but it's at an angle and not too clear as to details let alone being black and white the colors would have to be "guesstimated" Which I do not like to do .
So, anyone who can help me with this in a good photo and colors -comfirmed I will make them a Free leather unit patch of this opne or of thier choice, you'll have to cover postage for the patch once we do get it nailed down.
