Just wanted to share one of my favorite old movie dance numbers. It's from the Red Skelton movie "I Dood It". For a dancer, Eleanor Powell's rope work is pretty impressive.

Thanks so much for sharing that. The TX girl in me really had a ball watching that. I sent the link to a friend that does rope twirling in his shows, along with whipcracking.

Yes, keeping that rope a twirlin' can be tiring on the wrist/hand. But it sure is fun to watch. The Wild West Arts Club has people in there that do rope tricks among other things:
