This Stetson wool cap just felt right today with the green plaid shirt/jacket

Wow! New Cap Day at my house and I am impressed!

I would like to share my new Cordova 8 point cap made from a Green Flannel Prince of Wales Fox Brothers wool.

"Fox Brothers first developed ‘flannel’ in 1803 and to quote Esquire magazine, is still the “Standard Bearer” for this wonderfully soft cloth.Loved by tailors who appreciate the way the it cuts "like a good butter', this wonderfully soft cloth has evolved over many years and is now available as suit lengths in varying designs and weights, exclusively on The Merchant Fox."

"Iconic images from recent history show gentlemen of style wearing Fox Flannel - Sir Winston Churchill’s Savile Row tailor Henry Poole favoured a chalk stripe, Hollywood legend Cary Grant often wore Fox and of course, Gregory Peck in the film, ‘The Man In The Grey Flannel Suit’."

I do not cut anything close to an iconic figure, but the fabric is luxurious to the touch and eye. I do "feel like I am topped smart" wearing the cap.

My wearing preference is to on many occasions to tug the cap down on my back skull. This cap was cut to my wearing preferences. When I tug the cap down the top does not distort. The peaks are peaks and not 16,000+ mountain peaks.

Fox Brothers fabrics-what can you say other than show a picture.

Cheers.

Best wishes, Eric -

Visited the US Olympic Nordic training center outside Heber City, Utah. My B! Wear full-cut cap was my head covering of choice which was the right call as the temperature was a quite pleasant 44 degrees.

Bren; That is an excellent cap for the winter environment in the Wasatch Mnts. Are you their for the 10k races? If so, best to your XC Skating adventure.

Not a lot of time today between errands and back to work. Just sharing some shots of yet another New Cap Day. Black Prince of Wales is marvelous.

Now THAT is a great cap! Subtle color variations, nice legible Houndstooth pattern, great drape, and it really suits you!
