Thanks sir. It really is warm. The lining is thick and totally wind proof. 1st world problem to have caps for the varying temps and weather.

Although for tough effort in the cold I sometimes a cap with ear flaps. My collars do not stay up when I am really efforting and a cap with ear flaps is my choice. (I only have 1 flat cap with ear flaps and a Filson.) Not fashionable in the least, but totally practical. This morning I used a leaf blower for some yard clean-up. I started with ear flaps down and moved them up as I warmed up in my Filson Mackinaw cap.

I made a quick drive to the bakery to pick-up loaves of Finnish Rye and Cardamon bread. I was capped under a belt backed cap.

New work cap. Super heavy weight red wool. My brother said it reminded him of a Soviet cap, a bit rustic and thick. Since that was exactly what I wanted I took it as a compliment.

I wore a cap made from Dashing Tweed wool last evening and then again for errands this morning.

Nice cap. The heavy cap looks appropriate with the seasonal sign in the background. Terrific color for the cool season.

The linen cap and leather jacket work. Who would have thought. The background full of tropical colored plants is a treat.

Best to all cap folks, Eric -

I resisted as long as I could, but after seeing a fuzzy wool Cordova cap on Eric last week, I had to have one.
It’s wonderful. My only concern is the leather sweat is exactly the right size now, any shrinkage will be bad.
    My first eight dart cap.
