Back to work in the afternoon wearing a warmer cap. Temps have been dropping with a low in single digits by midnight.

Last cap of the year. Headed out to run a few errands, received compliments on the cap at each stop. View attachment 392207

That is a sharp cap! The thick wool is eye catching.

Breakfast after outside chores wearing a Filson Mackinaw ear flapped cap.

Yesterday a Cordova cap was my head covering for an errand. I switched to a BDH, Best Dressed Head, cap for a couple outside chores.

This morning the temps have warmed up to -11'f ('-24'c). I have been under caps all morning.

Snow removal in the Filson ear flapped cap. Can you imagine I used to think these caps were goofy and unattractive? In retrospect, foolish as the cap is warm and functional. I may get the Elmer Fudd comments from my wife and others, but they are not outside doing chores when I am.

Sunday's cold temps had me wearing a cap with ear flaps.

The "feel like" temps in the morning were -22'f (-30'c). My cap and jacket kept me comfy.

This "Newest Fashion Co." cap has a cashmere feeling wool and has synthetic fuzzy material on the inside of the ear flaps. The wool has volume or a loft so that it is wool warm, but also captures some air to be warmed by my bald head. The cap has a internal liner that give shape. This "lofty space" provides warmth. It is warm and comfy.

It is superbly designed. When you fold down the flaps the cap holds shape and fits snug against the ears. It totally covers the ears.

Today, I headed back to work in a thicker Fox Brothers green tweed wool cap.

The green tweed wool has many colored wool threads that really make it stand out.

Lunch done and I need to head out.

As my wife is Covid positive I have a mask at the ready on my ear most of the time in our home.

Bailey black 8 panel cap for this afternoon's hike.

Mrs Claus bought me a Sterkowski and a Gamble & Gunn cap. I'm waiting for them to arrive any day. View attachment 393357

Looking sharp dkstott! New cap day coming at your house soon - exciting.

Our temps have been very cold. Yesterday I went back to work in a warm wool cap and a heavy coat.

Thank you kindly sir. The Bailey cap is a wool blend, inexpensive.

Have you got any idea how many Cordova caps you own? ✌

"4" Cordova and other caps. Four plastic tubs that I store my caps in are all I have. Each cap is stored in an open plastic zip lock bag with tissue paper stuffing. I have not ever counted the total. I am uncertain that would be a good idea. ;)

Caps the last couple of cold days.
