Niko soba for lunch yesterday and back to work for the afternoon and evening. The red wool cap fits under my down parka hood . I am comfy and warm.

I haven't needed to leave the house today, but I did wear this cap and drug rug...er, I mean Baja Jacket yesterday to lunch with an old friend:

Boston Scally Co.'s "The Peaky" eight panel in Dark Olive Herringbone. Made from a wool/polyester blend, these caps are comfortable (to me, anyway) and engineered to hold their shape.

I haven't worn it in public yet, but I received this in the mail on Thursday:

Sterkowski's "Rambler" in blue-brown. Made from Harris Tweed (100% wool) with a cotton sweatband and quilted liner, this is my first four-panel cap:

Lounge members who suffer from OCD should probably not attempt to purchase this cap because the slightly mismatched pattern would probably be a trigger. I rather like it, and I think this cap is going to get a lot of head time until summer temperatures arrive.

Nice Rambler cap. My Rambler cap got a lot of use this winter.

It's almost time for me to put away the quilted lined caps.

B! Wear Cap Co. wool and silk blend custom “full cut” eight panel:

That cap really is sharp! A warm weather cap is hard to come by.

You wear the caps well. The pics have you appearing confident and sharp. While the olive green cap finds a warm spot in cap hues the mismatched pattern is a fun cap. I could easily wear that cap.

I have been out on some errands this morning in a Well Dressed Hea cap.

Thank you Sir, that's very kind of you to say. The Rambler is indeed a fun and easy-to-wear cap. If Keith "The Well Dressed Head" LoBue had created it he surely would have taken the time to match the pattern perfectly, as that is one of his trademarks. Of course, the hat would also likely cost three times as much at least if that were the case, so there's the trade off. ;)

I kinda like the mismatched pattern. It's not something that I'd personally obsess about. The Harris Tweed is great wool. My Rambler softened up quite a bit after a few exposure's to rain / snow.

Plus, it's on the top of the cap. How often do you look down onto yourself.

Oh, I definitely like It; more of a casual look. Besides, it probably would bother me if someone had attempted to match the pattern at the seams and missed by >< that much. And, yeah, I placed the cap on a pillow to get that shot of the top, 'cause my arms aren't quite long enough to get it while the cap was on my head.
