Thanks guys and I agree it's a bit of a tricky design. I guess if I'm a bit fuller in the middle and slightly shorter it'll fit better but being slim and somewhat athletic a half belt would likely suit me better. I might go go for slightly more than a inch at the sleeves and roughly an inch for the length. For the taper I'll probably need some expert advice but great idea on how to avoid the balloon, thx Handymike!
I'm not familiar with what that's like as I'm new at this but if u can give me some comparative measurements it would be helpful thx.
I was, I’m glad I came to my senses and kept it. how your collection going? Any new additions or have you settled already?
Yes that's the one, the most recent navy 42. I'd say it's maybe a pound heavier than the halfbelt? Maybe the feeling was because it hasn't been broken in, but it was a good amount stiffer and heavier feeling for sure.
Natal Leathers arrived yesterday! What an incredible jacket! Thick, heavy leather. Comfortable, soft & mobile. Fitment I believe is spot on! Honesty I couldn’t ask for a better jacket. Especially at a very reasonable price tag! I would like to thank @Monitor for talking about how he loved Natal Leather jackets, @ton312 for making this jacket look good in his pics & @Hh121 for moving this jacket along to me.
Vanson Sturgis today for the Saturday Harley ride. 7C when we set off. This jacket has 4 zipper vents for airflow when it heats up on the way home. Elasticated waist , not my favourite look but as a motorcycle specific jacket it stops "ballooning" Buildings in the shot are late 1800's. Fremantle is a "preservation" city so is low rise for the most part.
Bro, it looks great. Sounds like everybody worked together in unison to execute an elaborate play that marvelously ended with a SCORE!
I just really liked them. Shaped, not just straight cut and the curve made them actually be there. They were spectacular, like anything else on the jacket. But, it's your jacket.
