You forgot to mention how in his infinite creativity, he made all his styles using quantum patterns which other tailors copied in the past but that's not for mere mortals to understand so it's all good.

I agree with you. I will probably opt for one on most of my mc jackets. They are a big plus in 40 degree weather, plus they look bad to the bone. That collar rocks on your LW. Can't wait to see one on 1 of JMax's fine jackets.

I’ve got them on a few jackets (J23, Trojan, PJ-27, my Cals, Chopper) but other than the Vanson, all bought pre-owned. The few jackets purchased direct from makers where a detachable collar is an option? I just messed up and didn’t order it. Never again.

The Vanson model E taught me that an m/c cross zip without a fur collar is the diet version of the total jacket.

Coastal Sunday brekky with the missus this morning , a cool enough start for the Schott 441PP.
This has a "zip out liner" tho' I never do I just wear another jacket.
I know , a bit of a 'first world" thing haha..
Early 90's Japanese market special production apparently tho' I got it NOS out of the UK.
That kinda "globalisation" I likes haha...
Dull flat morning ahead of tonight's south west cold front bringing rain into tomorrow.
And yes the jacket zips up just fine haha...

I wasn't sure about the flap pockets either. They do resemble the baracuta g9. But now that I've actually worn it, I think those flap pockets look just fine.
I'm on a one in one out regime now so I sold this RRL cossack to make room for this Thedi.

Now my girlfriend tells me she liked the RRL better. Of course, in terms of quality the RRL is no match for the Thedi. But I think I do like the length of the rrl better. The rrl was 24'. The Thedi is 25'.
Maybe it's just a matter of getting used to it...

Trying to figure out the order in which to get this done. And if I want additional work done to each jacket. That will determine who receives my jacket for the work. I’ve got time too, most of my stuff is in storage. I was picking up some things for the wifey so took a snapshot of the Cal to mess with Monitor.

It took me a few years to find one that fit me that didn’t have a crazy-high asking price. I got super lucky with this one. As you are well aware, many Cals lacking a label are simply listed as “black leather MC jacket”. Hours upon hours of mindless eBay surfing paid off.

Unfortunately too small for me, but it should fit the new skinny monitor like a glove!

I kinda prefer the shoulder gussets on the black one and diamond instead of sausage armored bits BUT this one is red and red > everything else.

Was thinking of sending this to Dena for a quilted liner and after seeing @El Marro ‘s post, I may pop some snaps in it to secure this collar. It actually fits the jacket pretty well and it’s just collecting dust as of now.
