Warmed up enough to sit on the porch and Unbox a jacket wearing the Fine Creek. The new jacket is a Californian Calf Skin from c.1940
The Duke is actually the 370 Model. Looks similar but the 370 is an oiled suede with unlined sleeves. The 375 has that interesting rough out texture that I prefer. I really like it but have bigger fish to fry that have been on my hit list for a while. As I tell my kids, we can’t have everything.
No doubt! From the color/fit/construction alone is already a strong indication of how this is such a great acquisition. Congrats, the gamble paid of handsomely. Is it because it's a little too long in the body? That's what I noticed with Schott jackets Is this new? Damn that looks super cool! Can we see a photo of the back and side profile? Congrats man! Sheeley jackets are just awesome, wow!
After sun baking it yesterday the whole day, i think it get more uniform tan in color now and easier color to wear with dark jeans than the peach tone before.
True, a slightly longer jacket is also good especially when you normally don't tuck shirts in. Tucking shirts is something I'm not used to yet as it feels very formal to me.
More info? What is this beast? Did you finally get a poel? Why the "fleur de lis"? Is it a brand thing?
