Thank you for your kind words. I think I might have borrowed a few design elements from the Freewheelers caboose. That's a great jacket which will never fit me (because of chest-waist ratio).
Im planning to write a full review, but the weather is terrible this week, noting but rain and I'd like to include some outdoor fitpic. So The review will have to wait for dry weather

My Cheaney Tamars are perhaps my all-time favorite footwear. I love my Red Wing Iron Rangers, but I'm not too keen on the natural-colored leather around the base on the black version. I wonder if something similar to the Bowery boots is available now.

^only person I’ve seen filling up that triceps/pit area of Aeros is ton. It’s probably a combination of armhole size/shape and sleeve positioning. That effect was crazy on my highwayman (not premier), a bit less evident on the Hooch Hauler (which has other issues like cuffs too wide and waist too narrow).

Lol. Nope I get the same effect. And trust me, I never miss a day at the arm farm. What’s crazy to me is I’ve never even noticed this phenomenon. Nor do I care to try and address it!

I think it's a combination of the two. In that it can be made worst by having too wide shoulders, but I have jackets with 21" shoulders that are definitely too wide for my natural shoulders but don't do that weird shelf/overhang, they just slope and follow the shoulder, meaning it's also a pattern thing.
I have noticed this shelf both on Aero jackets and on Gregg's, both companies also usually show creases in the chest coming down from the neck that are IMO a sign of the jackets weight resting on the neck rather than the shoulders.
Considering Gregg was trained by Aero i assume his patterns and Aeros must share similar features.

Actually, thinking about it i have also noticed a similar thing on the Himel Imperials we have seen recently on here.

I have to say this one looks really good in the shoulder area.

Trust me, i sometimes wish my eagle eye would stop doing it's thing....

As far as creases on the chest from the neck, that is very much a factor of the shape of your shoulders, posture, and trapezius muscles (in addition to jacket cut and size, obviously). I have fairly pronounced traps, and see the creases more often than I’d like. Those creases don’t seem to show up on more square shoulders. I can get rid of them if I shrug my shoulders up, but it’s not a natural or comfortable position for me.

I have a catch and release jacket I’ve been meaning to take pics of and was going to have the peanut gallery weigh in, including their opinion on said creases.

For my own amusement and to keep rolling with badges/buttons. This jacket has made an appearance or two on TFL in the past. I found it at my fiancé’s house buried in a closet. I would beg my fiancé to let me have it and she would refuse saying it was her parents. Though no one had worn it nor mentioned it in two years! Eventually when we got our own place and she moved out her mom was like no clue who’s that is, it’s been here for years it’s all yours Dan
It’s a very high quality mall biker jacket type. It’s actually fairly thick and beefy. Spongey not dense. If it ever had any real sheene or top coat it’s long gone now. And the zip-in liner is Actually very warm. Great fall/early winter jacket. I mean being free as it was it’s incredible. I would pay like 300-400 hundred for it though. As much as it’s not pretty it does all it’s functions and purposes perfectly.

5. The Libertines Warchild badge.

I think he make suit jacket style sleeve, hanging more vertical than action jacket with more spread sleeve, but it has very clean look when you have your arm by your side no excess material under your armpit, but as you move your arm it might crease the top of the sleeve near the shoulder that way, I prefer this look over excess material on the armpit. but perhaps his jacket has less freedom of movement around the shoulder?

Danny there is nothing at all wrong with a good mall jacket! Even better in your case as you got it for the absolute perfect price! I would have no hesitation at all wearing that jacket anywhere and simply enjoying it. Leather looks great, so does the sewing, cuts, lines, etc.

From 10' away most folks have no idea the differance between a $200 Mall jacket and a $1500 Custom built one. Even many might not notice it still if they tried them both on. Often I am just asked if it's a Harley - Davidson jacket - even if it's brown! I always try and keep a "beater" or two around for wearing to more "offbeat" situations (like stuffing a jacket into the YMCA locker when I go to work out). If my locker ever got broken into, I would feel a lot less bad if it was a beater jacket that got taken, than a Lost Worlds.

Good to keep perspective! Wear & Enjoy it and Pin it up as you see fit...

@Carlos840 That's exactly what I thought. It's not because of the 'Aero like' pattern but because of my physique. I have these creases with pretty much all my jackets (except for the Thedi). I think it shows best with this skin tight HD racer:

First off, it's a vintage mirror; It's not dirty

The creases I was referring to are demonstrated on this Aero Seven:





I can make them go away (more or less) if I shrug my shoulders up to create a boxier frame:



And they're improved if I zip the jacket up:



As with everything, I suppose, it's a combo of sizing, physique, and cut of the jacket. This jacket is just a *touch* too small on me.

@Carrie @ Thurston Bros. -- Any input on sizing vs cut of the jacket vs physique? And are there specific jacket designs that are better suited to this body type?

here you can see that the crease disappears as soon as I turn my arm slightly forward. I had asked Greg if he could rotate the sleeves backwards a bit, but he said that the pattern was not suitable for this. And I didn't want to take any chances.

That’s the thing considering it was free from a closet where it wasn’t being worn or even looked at...it was a huge score. And it’s far from the nicest, best, coolest, best materials blah blah blah. It’s not the best at anything. But it literally checks every box. One of my best fitting: check. Well made and sturdy: check. Thick and beefy if worn on a bike capable of protection: check. Versatile: check. Can be worn in spring or early fall without liner. Zip in the liner and good to go into late fall/early winter. Big *** YKK zips. I can’t think of one bad thing to say about it. Not one. And it’s a cold, rainy, chilly day today. So here’s a full shot of it before I throw it on for the day. Pic of the zip and a shot of its thickness. Of course seams and edges are a bit thicker but the entire body is about that thick. Nice cowhide. It’s the little things like this that make collecting an adventure and sometimes a treat.

Interesting seeing this. I had a Bronson A1 that was too snug, sold it and got the next size up when they released a larger size the next year. That noticably has this issue where the smaller size didn't and I figured it was just an 'issue' in the way they made the bigger pattern.

Then I came across some vintage A1 photos on here and I could see this creasing in some of those jackets too. Not that it bothered me a lot but it made me feel a little better seeing this was at least 'authentic' it some way.
