One more attempt, I think ideally I’d want the lower front panel about half of what it is now. But for $525, is it worth keeping?? Definitely wouldn’t keep if $1k new.

Directly a result of the thread "Why should I buy a Vanson" this came to my house via the large square brown truck today. Frankly, while the torso length is sized for "racer" style motorcycles, this still is one of the nicest jackets I have ever owned. Especially as it's 20+ years old so "old school" competition weight leather. Well broken in, in amazingly good condition, it's home. Identical to one I owned for ~ 10 years till 2019. Now I just need to find a bike again...

Thanks!! Haha, I don't really know about the boots. Says "Rowland Brothers" on them. They're regular Chelsea style. My friend gave them to me, they belonged to his father who was an airliner pilot and he wore 'em while flying. They're really old.

And definitely futuristic retro spaceship pilot vibe to your entire outfit (which looks great, by the way!). Han Solo kinda deal!

Vanson Gambler I picked up earlier this year from the Thurston sale section. Size 38 and measurements line up to my usual size in theory, but definitely slim in the this-is-only-going-with-a-t-shirt sort of way.

Looks great, looks like a good three-season jacket.
