    I imagine there's not a one here among us who couldn't use a little more bread.
     
  9. Last night was Lots and lots of BBQ from skewered pork to BBQ chicken that came out REALLY good. I guess all that time in the BBQ that needed more charcoal made it cook nice and slow---then I added mor ehardwood lump charcoal and mesquite chips. :p

    Had a traditional Labor Day cookout with the family yesterday: grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, with potato and macaroni salads. Lunch today was more hot dogs. Tonight will probably be pasta.

    Indeed! It is a staple dish down here.
    I can't imagine gumbo or shrimp creole or crawfish etoufee poured over mashed potatoes.:(

    Then again, it would be awful over faux rice as well. :D

    Pork chops with chipotle and garlic seasoning.
    Bush's Maple beans, with Sriacha(?) sauce, about 3 tablespoons for a medium can.
