Slow cooked Teriyaki chicken, broccoli, and rice. I ate until there was nothing left. I was very content.

I've been thinking Angry Orchard today. I can find some chocolate frosted yellow cake somewhere.
Sure beats creamy chicken salad from Calabria's deli.

It was really good. Somehow, we have leftovers for today.

Thank you for the well-wishes. We are doing fine. It is very smokey here. The fire are about 40 miles to the north of us. There are some Loungers much closer to the fire who might have to evacuate. We are very fortunate.

Watched Salim Nosrat's Netflix special...."Fat, Salt, Acid, Heat" and tonight I am cooking her buttermilk brined chicken accompanied by my scalloped potatoes and string beans. My wife is baking cheese cake to top if off.

Pancake supper this evening. Two flat pancakes (I hate fluffy ones) fried in bacon grease with a over easy egg in between. AKA to cakes with a egg tweener. umm, umm, ummmmm!

Tuna noodle casserole, I added some ghost pepper sauce to it. Hotter the better.

Last night I had carnitas and a couple of chorizo tacos and some kind of Mexican deep fried cheesecake along with a few dos equis.

Tonight I had the biggest hamburger I've ever seen with some tater tots from a little cafe inside a gas station close to where I'd spent the day hiking
