Steak weather, definitely. Gonna grab a couple of T-bones and toss in the oven. And ice cold Miller.
Penne with marinara, meatballs, olive oil, and parmesan.
Filet mignon, steamed vegetables, garlic red mashed potatoes, dinner rolls, a dinner salad with the best ever ranch dressing, as well as a couple of Guinness.
I must have missed my invitation
That is what we figured. We waited, but had to suffer on without you.
Shame on you
I will take that shame every time as long as it comes with filet mignon.
As long as its rare

Last night: tacos, Angry Orchards, and the last of chocolate frosted yellow cake.
I have watched the Samin Nosrat, "Fat, Salt, Acid, Heat" food show on Netflix so tonight I tried making her Persian crispy rice, buttermilk brined roast chicken, flatbread, hommmous and asparagus. It was all fun to make and the tough one, the crispy rice came out okay....just okay....not brilliant....but okay. It stuck to the pan so I had to scrape the crispy bits out and it looked nothing like it should. Next time will be better!!!! The good news is that there are lots of leftover so dinner tomorrow will be very easy. By the way her show on Netflix is very good, well worth a watch.
That is a perfect meal.
I am thinking that it all came out much better than you think.
It was close to perfect. The only fault I can/could find with the meal was that at one point there was nothing more to eat. Nothing. All gone. Finished.
I had a sandwich: Italian bread, smoked turkey, avocado, bacon, a little mayo. I might have it on a croissant tomorrow.
Barbecue chicken, garlic fries, and a couple of Negra Modelos on tap.
Fried chicken and steamed brocolli.
They say regionality is dead, but in the NYC region, we spell "steamed broccoli" like this "biscuits." Funny though, we have a nasty greenish vegetable that looks and tastes (if my 40-year-old memory from the last time I had it is accurate) like a small shrub called "broccoli." Clearly not all regionality is dead.
Last night I had a grilled sirloin topped with homemade guacamole. Simple but surprisingly satisfying.
