Beef roast, cheesy noodles (not mac and cheese), cucumber salad, and corn fritters. Yum!

Thanks to immense pressure from @Frunobulax et.al I had to have chicken fried steak with grits, toast, and scrambled eggs....all smothered in gravy, of course.

Had a spam sandwich last night, leftover spam ditto tonite. Or, I could order in prime rib from my favorite Irish pub.:)

Last night cooled down enough to enjoy the patio of one of the local Mexican bar and grills in the neighborhood. I had some chicken enchiladas with green sauce to go along with the dos equis they had on tap.

Tortellini in a marinara sauce with garlic bread, a dinner salad, and a Dr. Pepper. Oh yeah and mudpie for dessert.

I am seeing Spam commercials as of late. It looks to be making a comeback.

Grilled out for the kids and some friends. Burgers, hot dogs, smoked sausage, pork tenderloin, fresh watermelon and cantaloupe, and homemade ice cream.

I've always enjoyed Spam; never understood its bum rap, my plebeian palate notwithstanding.
I especially like Spam with scrambled eggs.

Wednesday and Friday evening: Filet Mignon, garlic red mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, biscuits, a dinner salad with the best Ranch dressing ever created, and a couple of Jack and Cokes. It was Magical both nights. I am a lucky guy.

-and speaking of yesterday's game this Monday, Milwaukee's baseball clinic for the Cubs starring Mr Christian Yellich,
Prince of Thieves was greatly appreciated by this Chicago fan; and, hopefully, the front office crowd may have seen
something to ponder. I ordered in shrimp-too lazy to go to Brown's.:)

The kids are over tonight. Spaghetti is always a good choice to feed 'em all.

Raided the fridge last night and found leftover ribs and some deli turkey, a can of diet Pepsi.
Came this close to ordering a pizza but didn't squeeze the trigger.
Pizza tonite, and Chicago v San Diego at 9.10 CST. The games over the last two nites have lasted three hours,
with post game analysis/other sports talk, a couple hours sleep and 04.00 reveille. No five mile run though.:D
