I wonder how many hats would be an average for the inmates . They do get out of hand like they are multiplying . I have considered thinning them out, get down to 8 felt and 8 straw and that is probably 8 to many hats .

It was me that got the hint when SHE said, "Get those boots and hats out of our bedroom and my closet". The spare bedroom is now my boots and hats room, and occasionally my bedroom.

On a whim, I took a rough count of my hats last night. I now have thirteen or fourteen non-baseball, non-running, non-beanie hats. I have two more on order!

Just how in the world do I store them? Not enough boxes, not enough room, and I certainly don't want to stash them where I'll never pull one out and wear them.

Rookie move; never count your hats that way you have plausible deniability.

Hat storage is something many of us struggle with. Some in boxes, some on the wall, some on the coat/hat rack, others on the top of dressers, and I’m eyeing a retail hat display rack.

There are entire threads dedicated to hat storage.

I have eight felts and one straw. That's nothing compared to some of the collections here, but sometimes it still feels like I'm trying to herd cats.

That avatar is called “Borsalino Man”. It was painted by a young lady who sold prints of it on Etsy but now i can’t find it anywhere. I love it. It just plain speaks.
As far as what somebody or someone said about your hat....someone “always” has something to say. Pay no mind, you look great in your hat, not their’s...ya know?
