Sadly, I don't think this will be worn for the purpose for which it was originally intended, until I get married. There just aren't opportunities these days to go that dressed to anything, at least not in the circles of which I'm a member. It's not like I've been invited to a Royal Garden Party...

Baron, correct again. The collar is the largest one I've seen anywhere and is 2.5 inches tall. For some reason, I was just drawn to the tall-standing collar, so I bought that one, since I think it was the same price as the 1.5 and 2 inch wing collars as well.
