This is a silly shot from the 20th Annual Big Bang Hangar Dance in Fort Worth, where I happened to run into the lovely fortworthgal.
I hopped up on the Wing of Chuckie, the B-17 Bomber and cheese(cake)d it up!
I'd like to say Kate Hepburn-- cool as a cucumber and smooth, with a good but of sass-- but in reality, I'm Maureen O'Hara in anything she did with John Wayne-- quick to temper, very jealous, quick to cry, and hot-to-cold on a moments notice.
Last night, I had a boring old Vodka Soda, but about a week ago I was sipping away at an Old Fashioned. Not sure it's my drink, but it wasn't bad. I prefer Caprianas.

I'm a community theater actor myself, so it was really fun to see all of those stereotypes in the film. I knew each and every one of those people in my local theater experience, they just had different names-- Dr. Pearlman's name is Alan, Shelia and Ron are named Melissa...
I've found the easiest thing to do is make a paste of bakingsoda with just a bit of water, until it is the consistency of toothpaste. Spread it over the stains and hang the shirt up for about 15 minutes, then launder as usual. You can also use peroxide (and if neccesary, bleach) if the stains...
I didn't see this addressed anywhere else, but I thought I'd add it here instead of starting a whole new thread. If a Bartender thinks it warrants a new thread, then they'll move it, I'm sure :)
I'm curious-- what is your favorite scent on the opposite sex?
I'm shopping for a new scent...
Not vintage, but they have a distinctly 50's Tikki vibe and I thought they were too cute to not share.
I'm thinking I need black cigarette pants and a teal halter top to go with them :)
I was actually amazed when it stopped fading! I don't think the color-treated shampoo stops fading, it just doesn't enhance it. I've noticed anything with essential oils or extracts or citrus makes it fade like crazy. My hair used to go from medium auburn to an almost blonde color in a month...
I use Revlon Colorsilk in #42 (which is, ironically, the answer to life, the universe, and everything, even hair color!). It's ammonia free, so my house doesn't smell to high heaven after I use it. I buy it at Wal*mart for less than $3 US, and since I use very gentle shampoo and conditioner...
I used to wear Coco Mademoiselle, and I still really like it, but I switched to Daisy by Marc Jacobs for the last year or so, and I adore it! It smells fresh, of pear and citrus.
Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore.
Southern Horrors: Women and the Politics of Rape and Lynching by Crystal Feimster
Richard the II by William Shakespeare

In the past two weeks I've spent about $100US in Lush. Clearly, I won't be going back for a while :)
So far, my favorite product purchased so far is Flying Fox Shower Gel. It smells of jasmine and honey, but reminds me of honeysuckle and mimosa blossoms in my grandmother's back yard! Great...
Thanks! I kind of did a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pantyhose kind of thing and just measured by lying the fabric inside of the bag, guessing, and pressing it. I'm really amazed at how swell it turned out :) I'd pieced the "quilt top" part for another project that was never finished, so I'm glad to...
