On that note, i think Bates also offers a cowhide like that, so if you custm order a Bates HIGHWAYMAN I, then you will recreate the I'll be back jacket, wear it collar-up.

It all sounds good but it might just be a bit silly to get the ultimate bike jacket when I don't even ride.

I had the same thought before I bought my first Vanson but it has become one of my favorite jackets. As Regius said, the jacket is so well engineered that it is a pleasure to wear and it moves with you. I have been wearing my Vanson CHP this winter at work doing construction both indoors and outdoors and it is holding up beautifully. The comp weight cowhide is softening up around the arms and shoulders and I don't worry about dings and scratches like I do with my CXL jackets.

I just announced today in my Gothic Lit class that I'll be showing this movie in a couple of weeks. When I asked if anyone had seen it I got zero response. Then again, if I asked who Santa Claus was I'd get the same thing.
