That's what I read too, that Eastman gloves are rebranded MASH ones. Still, the MASH + shipping costs from Japan are 20EUR cheaper than the ELC ones.

We've had a serious cold snap over the past week, which has meant my A-10 are getting full use. Lined goat for the win!

Somewhere I have a cheap pair of A10s I bought on eBay a few years ago. No idea if they're the same ones Aero have - I think mine came from one of the army surplus places. Perfectly serviceable until it gets to silly cold weather, and then I eschew all leather gloves for a pair of elcheapo sueded outer sheepskin gloves, warmest thing I've ever had. Fit on my A10s is fine. Not as finessed as the ELCs I've seen (I think the knits on mine might be nylon / poly, nicely robust, tho), but they've done the job for a few years, and at a fraction of the price. I'm sure the others are great if you want the fully accurate military repop side of it, though I tendto prefer not to spend too hard on gloves, as they're easy lost; also, I tend to keep glvoes in each coat rather than wear the one pair all the time, so lower priced is good for me. Great, casual glove - and they amused me because they were, in effect, a brown version of the Northern Ireland Glove (the unofficial name for the black leather, knit cuff, wool-lined and knuckle-padded leather gloves that British squaddies were issued with when sent to do a tour in the Six Counties back in the day).

The warmest, dressiest gloves I ever had - still got them somewhere - are a pair of black leather ones with a sort of shaved sheepskin inside. Feels like a number one haircut, almost, gives the gloves a slimness and therefore they weren't clumsy, yet still as warm as anything else. Nice durabled black leather outer that wasn't glossy, more a matte look to it. Marvellous things, bought them on eBay and dearly wish I could find more.
