Nice, Congrads!!!
I had also bid on that hat, I am glad it went to some one that will appreciate it and wear it with pride. Looks good on you, enjoy!:eusa_clap
I do have a good collection of other fedoras, but I thought it would be fun to work on something. I really did enjoy making this hat look and feel different. Hope everyone liked the pictures I posted. Thanks for the compliments...:)
Lately I had been keeping an eye out for an Akubra style hat on Ebay, with no luck. I did end up coming across a good deal on an open-crown Resistol western styled hat, with 4" brim. The hat had a nice brown color that I had been looking for so I went with it, hoping I could work with it...
I have the Bogart model, which is not bad. IT hasn't gotten much wear, now that I have a large collection of hats. I would recommend this and the Iconoclast models for a new fedora wearer, good price too.
RED, is my favorite color. KNIGHT, is a reminder of men with honor, integrity and purpose. 1775, is the year my beloved Corps came into existence...
I began using this as an e-mail name since I was a kid, it just stuck. It’s about 7 years old now and still going strong. WOW time flew by!
When I get home and am sitting around I have a nice cherry wood hat/coat rack in my living room where I like to display them for guests. I only put the one I am wearing that day and one blazer on it at a time, with my shoulder holster. When the day is over I put it back in it's box, where its...
Thanks
Yeah, had to snatch them up at those prices... picked up two more that are vintage with the wind line. They also went for about the same price. I am working each one a little different from the others. The most recent one has a center dent with slight front pinch and snap brim...
If you want the classic look ask for a low taper fade with a trim on top, I prefer the high fade. Let him know you want it long enough to comb it on top. Also let the barber know how long you want your side burns... It's a nice look and you'll feel more comfortable.
I love my guayabera shirts; I don’t know how I would make it in the South Texas heat with out them. I have a good collection of different colors and embroidery styles. I think I will keep buying more for some time to time. I checked out the Blair.com sight, will be ordering some from there...
1911-A1 and S&W M-10
I carry my Springfield 1911A1 .45 ACP all of the time when off duty, but when I'm feeling old school I carry my S&W model 10 .38 Spl. And when the weather is just unbearably hot I pack my khar Pm-9.
Hopefully with the passing of HR218, giving police freedom to carry in...
I tried dancing "swing" a couple of times with the wife. Didn't get too far, the wife would start laughing uncontrollable when I throw her over the shoulder and all about! She likes it but she just can’t stop laughing… I’ll leave it to the people that make it look good, nice video...
