Here's a pic of me with my new to me creation by Art I picked up off the classifieds. It's a little snug not much so I have purchased a hat stretcher to remedy the problem. The color is siverbelly.

Congrats Blewbyou, like your Hollywood brim.

Got a package from Art today, a VS I'm calling Synchronicity for the way it came about. Powder blue featherweight with vintage tan/pinkish ribbon in a short brimmed (2 3/8) OR style. It is absolutely featherweight and malleable like clay. Love it. Thank you Art!

Shadedude, Duper, Che, Brando, and Tom, thank you very much for the comments. It's all Art's art.

This hat came about pretty much by accident and I have to thank Che indirectly for changing his mind on this Powder blue body and going for his Granite instead. I just happened to inquire with Art at the right time, all I was really looking for was a bandblock. I mentioned that if he ever got anymore featherweight Powder blue bodies in to please keep me in mind. Ten minutes later Che changed his mind and Art got back to me. Must have been meant to be!

Mike; THAT LOOKS GREAT! I chose the cap lock purposefully. Now you are "head"ing in the "hep cat" direction. None of us can challenge the Hep Cat Che, but we can do our best to lean that drection. Your great new blazer and shirt are complimented with the powder blue Strat-like fedora. I like it sir! Congrats to you and Art.

I am certainly partial to that look (hat and blazer) and you are working it.

Best to an upcoming Hep Cat kind of guy - or is it dude? Eric -

Thanks Eric, your right about Che, we can only try and copy. Art is the man too, anybody looks better in his lids.

BTW, like your new avatar and those shades are certainly Hep! I'm also re-discovering the board shirts that you wear so well, been bidding on some vintage ones on the bay but no winning luck so far. Scored a nice Pendleton coat that will come in handy soon though.

Dude is reserved for Jeff Bridges in "The Big Lebowski" :)
