Older ELC Roughwear Redskin B-3

I have owned several ELC RW B-3s in the past and they have never felt quite right for various reasons. This one, which I bought before Christmas, is perfect! It's an early one in a size 44 and unlike the current ones, which have repro Crown zips, it has a NOS Talon zip. The skin side of the fleece has loads of character as does the fleece. One of my collector friends thought it was an original 1941 B-3!

Nice jacket! Especially the fleece looks much better than on the newer ELC B3 jackets. What do you think how old the jacket is? Maybe from the eighties? Regards, andreas!

I suspect the jacket is at least 20 years old. It's a real shame the current offering is not as authentic looking as this jacket.
