Oh my! I have the perfect hat to go with this one... the main colour of the hat is the same as the velvet trimming, with navy ribbon set in up the crown! I WANT. I WANT. I WANT!

Just bought a book from 1933 with knitting and crocheting patterns. I thought I'd share some pics if anyone is interesting (I'm seriously going to make some of these, several are really simple).

Yes, please, Miss Sis! Gals, check out this 30s "Smartsport" set. From my personal collection. Made of "Crepe Mist" yarn, according to tag. Zigzags + those buttons....and why can't they make a yarn in that perfect deco green, eh?
