Just bought a book from 1933 with knitting and crocheting patterns. I thought I'd share some pics if anyone is interesting (I'm seriously going to make some of these, several are really simple).

Plenty of sporty looking patterns.

oow, I like the cargigan, jumper and matching hat! I'm actually knitting a swimsuit (40's) at the moment- though it's not my main project, so who knows when I'll finish it! ;)

Yes, please, Miss Sis! Gals, check out this 30s "Smartsport" set. From my personal collection. Made of "Crepe Mist" yarn, according to tag. Zigzags + those buttons....and why can't they make a yarn in that perfect deco green, eh?
