Wander through Millers Point experiencing the living history of the streets as captured on film. Projections draw from documentary films and photographs, featuring past & present residents and workers. In this way, the history of the working port, its waterside workers and its residents will be re-inscribed back into its present day environment, connecting us to the area’s living history and the ties existing within the community today.

Has anyone ever seen "A Bush Christmas" (1947)?

It's a children's story shot in the NSW Blue Mountains at Christmas time (although how you could wear clothes like that at Christmas in Oz is beyond me).

Not the best film I've ever seen by a long stretch but it's from the era we all love and uniquely Australian.

I was just reading another thread about vintage things that have disappeared in our lifetimes.

I was going to post something there but I though here might be more appropriate.

When I was a kid you used to see adverts for Bex. Does anyone else remember the slogan 'A cup of tea, a Bex and a good lie down'?

I was just looking at some other threads about favourite cartoons and I remember watching 'Owly School' when I was small.

It wasn't a cartoon. It was a puppet show.

Does anyone else remember that?
