Vintage Picard

I was looking to get some more Picard's and saw on ebay some old in metal cans. The product was dark brown. At the company they told me it used to contain pine tar. I was thinking if you wanted to slowly darken it might be a way to go. Anyone have experience with this?

My Pecard looks nothing like this. What you are looking at must be a very old formula.

Not for me. You can mix a little leather dye into a new tub and get results.

Call the company back and ask them why they put pine tar in it . Not something I would use…. Except maybe on shoes.
