Quit hiding the hats Jonathan!

Haha! My jacket picture setup is pretty rudimentary involving propping my phone in a small drawer of a clothes valet stand. Decent height for jackets, not so good for hats. If I stand further back some of the detail is lost. If I hunch over it doesn't optimize the jacket. And if I don't, you get a nice shot up my nostrils.

A brief respite from the heat is set to pass but I did get two days in the y’2. I’ve grown to love it. I wasn’t sure at first but it really hits the mark. I love the outer sleeve seam. Lined up perfectly with the shoulders. Beautiful color and I can wear it to work without a care. Hopefully we get a sunny, cool, dry fall.

Thank you for the Canadian Tuxedo compliment :D
I've never owned duck canvas before. The indigo type seems quite rare, does not come up at all with google. Only this IH stuff and N&F.
IH does have a "fade gallery" for this fabric though. I could not tell it apart from regular denim visually, but it definitely feels different.

And a few here as well:

This picture really helped me pull the trigger though:

It's much much quicker to fade. What takes years with denim will take months (or weeks) with that cnavas. I wish they would re release it. I'd go back to IH for a type 3 in that.

First outing for this mixed media half belt courtesy of the Aero blowout sale earlier this summer: View attachment 546050 View attachment 546051

Collar needs a little training but overall I dig it. Doesn't have the heft of all leather nor my other wool coats so this offers a nice alternative.
I was eyeing that up myself but you pulled the trigger faster. Looks good on you.
