I did wear Dubonnet lipstick today. :D

I have my eye on a few MAC shadows I'd like to get to change up my eye makeup a little, but I don't like to have a bright lip with much colour on the eye, too, so they're mostly the same sort of neutral shades.

Me too, i'm in love with it! (Thanks C-dot for the heads up. I also busted out the BE Mineral Veil, i had forgotten how good it is!! I do still love my Coty, but the MV really is a great powder).

Today i have a day off, so i'm wearing no makeup, just some Lush Superbalm on my lips and a ton of vaseline on my face.

I had Mineral Veil too - it's fantastic! I really should get some more... not sure why I didn't when it ran out. In fact, since it ran out about 2 years ago I haven't worn powder at all. But my skin is very dry so I don't get very shiny I guess :D And Miss S, I have been known to use vaseline on my face too! When I was younger and had a makeup-free period I used vaseline only on my eye lashes, it works really well and kinda looks like mascara - great for sensitive eyes.

Don't you break out from the vaseline Miss Sofia?

Actually no, it seems to help with my dry skin and it doesn't inflame my psoriasis at all. It seems to be makeup and certain soaps or shower gels that really get me going! After using cold cream for yonks, it has started to annoy my skin which is a shame, as it has been a real treat for my dry patches, so i just use a normal cleanser now and a slather on the vaseline every now and then. I hope i can go back to using it though.

Linasofia - my mum said she always used to put vaseline on her eyelashes too, so i may have to give it a whirl.

I'm sorry to hear that Rue, it must be the stress of moving house! Aloe vera gel is great too. I use it alot when my psoriasis is bad and it's great for dry skin as well. Aveeno also do some fantastic products for treating dry skin and eczema and psoriasis, i'm sure you would be able to find them at your local chemist. I highly recommend all Aveeno products.

I don't sleep in the Vaseline though, as i find it makes a mess of my pillowcases. I just tend to slap it on when i have a day off like today and potter round the house. I hope it works for you. Of course everyone's skin reacts differently to different products. As i said, the aloe vera gel and Aveeno creams are brilliant though.

Rue, you should try Albolene cleanser. It is like a cross between vaseline & cold cream. I've started using it lately and I love it. A big tub is about $10 at Walgreens. There's much talk about it in the last couple of pages of the cold cream thread; it is supposed to be good for people with eczema and dry skin conditions.

Thank you both! I'm going to try each one of these things and see what works best :D

The air is REALLY dry here, so I think that's why my skin is acting up.

OOh i might have to see if i can find the Albolene cleanser over here somewhere. It sounds great. I'm mourning not being able to use my Boots cold cream!

I don't know about any one else, but the change in the seasons, going into Winter, always plays havoc with my skin. I have held off putting on the central heating too, as that does my skin no favours at all either.
