Vintage, eh? I didn't realize they were saying that. Very interested in hearing your review of the felt quality.

I wonder if they're sitting on any more vintage felt? And what the vintage is, of course.

That thought hat occurred to me too. It's not as if 70's and 80's Stetsons were anything to write home about. Though it is an undyed felt apparently, so no powder dye.

Two of the Spanish-made hats on the JJ site, the San Sebastien and the Seville, are very tempting with the discount. The Whiskey color seems very nice.

That's what I did only got the Heritage first. I wanted one of each. My Heritage is softer, though the Imperial took a nice bash but it dictated how it wanted to be creased.

Joao , I like seeing your HUGE Brims , I keep eyeballing that Akubra Sombrero , and I'm fighting the urge for an Akubra Woomera in SanTone Fawn . The Bush Tucker Man (on youtube now) from back in the 80s wore an Akubra Sombrero , his signature Hat ! It looks like its been around Aussieland drug behind a wagon pulled by Mules , but still was rollin ! Akubras are tough Hats ! Your Sombreros are KOOL !

Just ordered the Wide Brim Diamond from JJ Hatters; a young woman by the name of Claire was kind enough to check their inventory and managed to find my size (it was listed as SOLD OUT online). $55 for a USA made fur felt shipped with box is a deal I couldn't turn down. I really don't need another black fedora, but it's not really about need is it?

Well, this should be interesting.

Unfortunately they sold the last size 7 even though they had it online. They're going to send me the 57 with some sizing tape, and said I'm free to return it if it doesn't work.

Considering that the last Stetson I got from DelMonico was sized small, and I bought a 57 at the outlet, I'm chancing it because this hat is special edition. But I may or may not end up being the owner of a Boss Raw Edge....

That a Nice Hat ! I hope it fits close enough for Horse Shoes , and it seems over time they usually shrink , especially with help and wear .

yes dark brown. got to say though i had an advintage harrison (sadly stolen) that in my opinon was a better hat! that said it was almost three times the cost of the fed!
