The combo works like a charm. The bowler is just the right hat for it.
Had to decide between the D Bar J fedora and the Baron Hats bowler. Baron won, because of the strong winds. I didn’t want to chase a hat in subzero wind chills. But I have to admit I might have been more excited about the new pants. A rather adventurous acquisition for me.

Must have missed the memo. Yours can carry Sovereign day on its own though; superb hat.Thanks D. Yes, I think you've liked this coat before when I've worn it. It's a Kuppenheimer with a union tag dated 1939. Valgora cloth, which I take is a blend of wool, alpaca and baby mohair.
Today it's Sovereign Twenty day.
