Not sure how I feel, lol. This is certainly a distinctive Aero product, thick, heavy, boxy. It resembles the spirit & curvature of my original 50s Excelled, so I’d say it’s a repro. However, the big sleeve & cuff opening reminds me of my first MC jacket bought in London, made out of water buffalo, thick, substantial, but can’t lift my arms. This one has top material & craftsmanship, otherwise feels like the water buffalo jacket at $100.

I like it a lot. It'll settle down with wear.

The reputation of Aero’s cinched waist on their MC jackets... not sure I feel that, there’s plenty of room at the hem..., the leather is already soft, it’s tumbled FQHH, feels great to the hand. Let’s see how it settles & drape

Incoming from Ebay in a few days. Well worn Vanson Force to add into my bike jacket rotation. Didn't ask the seller, but Im hoping it might still have the inside velcro attachment points for my armor.

You will love the Force. Perfect for riding. Nothing better, equal maybe, not better. That CW looks stellar.

This one looks to have the same lining as mine. Wonderful, thick wooly flanell. I really like that design as well.

Recently picked up this (too small) Harley Sportster horsehide jacket. I took a gamble based on the sellers measurements and made a low ball offer, which they surprisingly accepted. I might keep it since it kinda fits, just can’t zip it up. If anyone might be interested in doing a trade, lemme know.

Just in from a long road trip. Seattle Woolen Co. Horsehide police jacket. WWII era zippers. Incredible condition. Incredible heavy, weights 7 pounds! Probably the heaviest vintage jacket of it's size I have owned. Probably a size 46.

I'll do more when I can.

Leather any leather feels big when you're wearing shorts! I'm thinking this is probably a 48. I'm not that little and the jackets pretty big. Current fit pics will be done in an air-conditioned room. It is warmed up here.

I've given up trying to button the cuffs, hurts. this is like a lost world jacket. Never experienced anything quite like this in Vintage.

Who knows about the Schott 673? Sizing and fit, specifically. An idle browse happened me onto this, and I think it looks fabulous.

Obviously you know I usually prefer a cr, but my goodness this looks like some kind of a thing. Schott's sizing recommendation suggests a Small for me for a slimish fit, and I'm spot on a 40 chest.

How about for riding? Looks pretty sturdy in the photos, but that's just photos.

Schott are very well versed in motorcycle riding jackets. I have 3 variants myself ( 641HH/689H/441PP )

This 673 has huge shades of the 689H which is a wonderful looking jacket off the bike , and wonderful on it !

Now that the Maxwell 'sizing up' experiment has paid off, I am thinking of a replacement sized-up Cafe Racer in battered tan to replace one I had to move on (too tight, too short).

At some point, I will run out of money.
