Well, at the risk (hope) of offending Ol' Krap-or-nick, my RED, (off) WHITE and BLUE-ribboned Dobbs Milan, circa 1970(?)...

Great hat, Chas. I couldn’t agree more with the sentiment too.

Lee Overbrook, Allday.

Great lines and glow from a distance, brought to you by the Blue Label, but delicate details up close make the hat. Triple stitched binding and a bow with an unexpected twist.

Good call Charlie! Good to see you!
I know i’ll never, ever, ever buy another pair of Nike’s. I will continue to buy Charmin though.
Praise and gratitude to all those who made today possible. To them, i will take a knee!

Bill i love this hat!
But...you know what i was hoping to see.
Maybe for evening events if it cools down.
Don’t you also have a...err...Navy Blue Semi Colada??
B
Actually I don't have a "Navy Blue Semi Colada." I do have my "Summer Dress Blue" Cuenca that I have not worn as yet. It was originally gonna be a Semi Colada but my wife thought the Cuenca was more dressy. It may make its debut today. It will most definitely be worn Sunday.

Two mighty nice finds, Steve. Great navy bordering on midnight blue colour of the Hückel, not to mention those deep wide pinches.
The pocket mirror is just one of your many hat ephemera pieces I would love to come across.
Thanks for sharing.

Steve, Thanks! It's hard to find old JHS Soft Felt Hats and this one is in great condition plus overall fantastic (at least to me). :)

Hopefully I’ll be done with work by early afternoon and spend some time with the family. No complaints about needing to work some today either. I’m just glad to have a good job, good people to work for, good family (even including my youngest wild a”” spirited black sheep daughter), to live in the greatest nation on Gods green earth and all the blessings and privileges that come with it.

Have to include one of my favorite patriotic paintings as well. We’ve had a copy on our wall our entire married life.

I’m couldn’t agree more with your sentiment.

There was a time when I was the wayward child, but I never forgot the teachings and love of my parents. Family is what it’s all about; for time and all eternity.

Ditto..same here. I also was a wild a”” spirited young cowboy. Caused my parents lots of grief and disappointment. But they gave me a good solid foundation for life for when I was ready to settle down. Biggest help was to find the right gal to marry. I’ve also convinced my youngest that I’m the best dad in the world. How could I not love her.
